Jaslyn lost her science hw, so she asked me to type it here:]
So dont think i gone mad, &posted my homework here, rofl.

Jaslyn, write study notes, in point form.

BIOLOGY:
Nutrition;
(a) What is a balanced diet?
(b) List the principal sources of and describe the dietary importance of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vit C &D, mineral salts, fibre(roughage), water.
(c) Explain why diet especially energy intake, should be related to age, sex and activy of an individual.
(d) State the effects of malnutrition in relation to constipation and obesity.

Digestion in man;
(a) Identify the main regions of the alimentary canal and the associated organs.
(b) Describe the main functions of various organs in the digestive system.
(c) Explain why most food must be digested.
(d) Describe how digestion in the alimentary canal occurs.
(e) Describe absorption as the passage of soluble products through the wall of the small intestine and into the blood capillaries.
(f) State the role of the liver in
(i) the metabolism of glucose & amoni acids
(ii) the role of fats as a storage substance
(iii) the formation of urea and the breakdown of alcohol in the liver

Wtf, i still have Chemistry & physics :/

CHEMISTRY:
Acid, bases, salts;
- describe the meanings of acids and alkali in terms of the ions they contain or produce in aqueous solution ( give the definations and the physical properties)

- describe the characteristic properties of acids as in reactions with metals, alkalis and carbonates. (give 3 examples of word equations for every reactions are required)

- know the pH scale of various commonly used lab indicators like methyl orange, phenolpthalein, universal indicator, and pH paper.

PHYSICS:
Introducing electricity;
(i) what electricity is
(ii) how circuit diagrams are drawn the various electrical component symbols
(iii) the three components of electricity and the explanation for each of them
(iv) what conductors and insulators are and give examples for them
(v) Ohm's law
(vii) an electric current will cause chemical, heating, magnetic effects

Practical electricity;
(i) what power is
(ii) how to calculate electricity bills
(iii) what are the safety precautions needed when handling electrical components
(iv) the importance of the conservation of electrical energy

Looking @ the amount of topics, i conclude, teachers are evil D:
Zzz, theres still maths, EL, MT, lit. Wtffffff T_T!

KOH JASLYN! Im done. Plus, literature group work, idk how to do]:
